There are many resources to help you and your child during their hospital stay.

Patient and Family-Centred Care

Children, youth and their families are the centre of care at our 2 provincial children’s hospitals. Creating partnerships with the patient and family helps us to deliver world-class care with compassion and respect.

Indigenous Health Program​

The goal of this program is to help Indigenous children and their families during their hospital visit. The program has an Indigenous pediatric social worker, a registered nurse, a family coordinator, and an administrative assistant to help deliver the program.

Cultural and Spiritual Care

The 2 children’s hospitals in Alberta offer spiritual and emotion support to patients, families, and staff in the hospital.​
