    If you hold stress in your body, it can affect your back. You may start to tense your back muscles, which can lead to back pain or make it worse.

    Physiotherapy may help you when back pain makes it hard to move around and do everyday tasks. This treatment helps you move better and may ease pain.
  • Learning about relief for back pain
    Although it may hurt a lot, back pain often gets better on its own in several weeks. Using good home treatment may help you feel better sooner.

Low back pain

Many people have low back pain at some point in their lives. It’s a very common problem. Low back pain can happen because of muscle strain, poor posture, aging, or health issues like arthritis or disc problems. Some people may have mild pain but for others it can become chronic, meaning daily tasks become harder. Learn more

Ways to manage pain

Upper and middle back pain

Upper and middle back pain is pain you feel from the base of your neck to the bottom of your rib cage. Your ribs attach to the sternum and attach to and wrap around your back. If a nerve in this area is pinched, irritated, or injured, you may also feel pain in other places where the nerve travels. Learn more
