How does weight impact your life?

Weight can affect how you feel, how you manage your day-to-day activities, and your relationships with others. Because weight affects everyone differently, how you manage your weight has to meet your needs.

People who are working at managing their weight to have a better quality of life have said:

  • “I function better at work.”
  • “I feel better and have more energy.”
  • “I feel I can take care of my home and garden. I am not too tired to keep up with everything anymore.”
  • “I can manage on my own without relying on others for help at home.”
  • “I can spend quality time with my family.”
  • “I enjoy life to the fullest.”
  • “I am setting a good example for my kids. We are all getting healthier because of the change that I made to my life.”
